According to data from the Anfac, registrations of electrified, hybrid and gas vehicles grew by 146.5% in December compared to the same month last year, with a total of 36,380 registered units. It should be noted that during the last month of the year, all regions have increased their sales of electrified vehicles, both pure electric vehicles and plug-in and non-plug-in hybrids. If we analyze the data of non-plug-in hybrid vehicles, we observe that their sales reached 23,135 units in December.
Toyota RAV4, the best-selling hybrid car in Spain in December 2020. The Toyota RAV4 gets the win. This model, one of the best hybrid SUVs, remains at the top of the table. The second place is for the Toyota Corolla and in the third position appears the Toyota C-HR.
At a considerable distance, in fourth place, is the Toyota Yaris that repeats as the most demanded hybrid utility in our market. The first “non-Toyota” model is the KIA Niro (5th). It is also worth noting the update of two Lexus models. And it is that this well-known premium brand has in its portfolio two of the most popular electrified SUVs in Spain. These are the Lexus UX (6th) and the Lexus NX (9th).
